Music as a Language
Humble Beginnings
Roman Marten founded Pocket Music Academy from his home in the Keller/Fort Worth area back in September of 2021. He believes that music should be taught as a language. He was frustrated with his (at the time) employers’ push for a stricter curriculum/program despite his strong success with adaptive teaching methods.
He resigned from his position with his previous employer and after some time organized Pocket Music Academy LLC. He is Currently teaching students and developing his team of instructors at his home. He plans on growing his team and student base in order to move into a dedicated teaching/recording/production studio.

Anthony started playing guitar in 2016 with an interest in rock and metal music. Since then, he has shifted his focus to jazz guitar styles in preparation for College. He enjoys films by David Lynch and Charlie Kaufman, video games, and collects vintage horror paperback books.
He teaches guitar, bass, and violin.
